İpek Arnas after getting her diploma in economics, decided to change her path towards something creative and fun.She attended Lasalle International Academy for a future in fashion design.She worked in a textile company focusing on authentic casualwear for European an American market.

Her interests in vintage fashion, retro music, surreal art, Japanesse culture and her love of cats paved the way for her to create a brand that is solely based on her own taste. Her brand is made of garments that are not to be found in many places which has a quirky style.She named the brand after one of the mostly used knitting techniques knit 1 purl 2 as in Turkish 2 Ters 1 Duz. Besides her independent 2 Ters 1 Duz collection, she is preparing collections for one of the most biggest thread manufacturer and oldest brand “Nako”.And she’s also giving consultancies to some companies.In September'11 at "İstanbul Fashion Week" she showed her "A new wave" collection with her 2 Ters 1 Düz brand.
