DESIGNERS / GAMZE SARAÇOĞLU
Gamze Saraçoğlu obtained her under-graduate degree in Management from Işık University, and went on to pursue a pre-MBA degree at Marmara University. In 2002 she went to the Parson’s School of Design in New York, and attended a prestigious course in London at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design called ‘Fashion London’.
In 2004, she created her own brand ‘Gamze Saraçoğlu Fashion Design Studio’. Gamze Saraçoğlu products are sold in Istanbul, Paris, London, Copenhagen and across the rest of Europe.
She took part in ‘Istanbul Fashion Design 1-2’, ‘Fashion Week’, ‘Istanbul Street Fair’, ‘Istanbul Design Week’ and ‘Address Istanbul – Wedding Dress Fair’ in 2006; ‘Who’s Next – Paris’, ‘Pure London – London’ and ‘SIMM – Madrid’ in 2007; ‘Pure London – London’ and ‘Pret A Porter Atmosphere – Pairs’ in 2008.
In 2007, she became the Creative Director of Saydam Tekstil. She also undertook the position of Creative Director at MRM Leather Company. She designed for Zara, Marks & Spencer, Kokooi, Nafnaf, Etam, Promod, Chevignon and Apple.
In 2008, she prepared designs for the women’s brand of Cottonbar.
In 2009 she became the Designer and the Creative Director of the brand. She started giving courses on ‘Fashion Design’ at Mimar Sinan University.
In 2009 February, she had a fashion show in Conrad Hotel, Istanbul.
In 2009 she represented Turkey in Rotterdam Fashion Organization.
In 2010 she designed the uniform of Turkcell employees.
From 2007 till 2010, she was the Creative Director of Saydam Textile.
Since 2010 she is the Fashion Consultant of limango which is a private shopping site owned by Otto Group.
In 2011 she created a special line for Damat Tween.
In 2011 she created uniform to Petrol Office.
She has been showing her collections in solo fashion shows at Istanbul Fashion Week.
